A great cafe, such friendly service and good quality food. We had the mighty breakfast baguette and it was amazing! You get so much food

A well-travelled friend told me to look for the places that worker go to eat, for good reasonably priced food. They weren’t wrong. Plenty of hi-vis here. Lots on offer, hot,cold, healthy, take away or eat in. Breakfast menu alone looked amazing but I opted for marinated chicken chips and salad. Really good portions, freshly cooked, delicious.

We popped in here for a nice English breakfast as we were staying at the Premier Inn a little way down the road. We saw this place on Google Maps and with great ratings we gave it a try.It was delicious! For 11.99 each we had a big English breakfast which was delicious. Cooked perfectly and it was just the right amount too. They offer a fresh orange juice, so we had that, that was also lovely.Service was kind, cheerful and polite. Cannot fault!

We had four delicious breakfasts here during our recent vacation in London. We stayed literally across the street at Staycity (great hotel btw) and were looking forward to some big hearty breakfasts to fuel our most intense days of sight seeing Glad to say that The Golden Cafe totally delivered!The first day, before a full day trip to Kew Gardens and Richmond, we all had the full English breakfast. Everything tasted great, my favourite being the bubble and squeak The (black) coffee was very good and included in the price. A nice full mug From the second breakfast, one of us switched to the Mediterranean option which was delicious too and came with an extra egg.The toast was nicely grilled and buttered, and with two big slices per person, will probably be a bit much for most. If you have one big eater like myself with you, that shouldn't be a problem Do keep in mind the bread is white and served with quite a lot of butter, so perhaps ask for another option if that's not your thing.On weekdays around 8:30 we were served within 20 minutes, on a Saturday it took a little longer since the place was pretty much full.We really hope to come back here on a future trip to London, whenever that may be.Lastly the staff were very friendly, and we would hereby like to thank them for their great breakfasts

Delicious food , extremely generous portion sizes, reasonable prices and friendly staff. They serve a variety of omelettes , jacket potatoes , all day breakfast platters , sandwiches and burgers . Highly recommended!

Best place in Greenwich for local breakfast, take the full English breakfast as well as the Mediterranean one.Do not forget toast.

Just eaten breakfast here with my wife, amazing friendly people and great food. The Mediterranean breakfast was something I would order again without a doubt, great little find in Greenwich
